Pro dnešní den, kdy má svátek Jiří je snad nejznámnější první pranostika.

Na svatého Jiří vylézají z děr hadi a štíři.
Je-li o svatém Jiří krásně a teplo, bude po Jiřím následovat nepříjemná povětrnost.
Svatojiřské květy sklízí mráz.

Today is George's Day. There is perhaps the most famous  weather lore.

Of course, there are rhymes in Czech. But here is the meaning.

There are  snakes and scorpions, which are coming out of the holes on St. George day.

When there is beautiful weather and warm air on St. George day. It will be followed by  unpleasant weather.

Šmálikovci sledovanie pranostík...

"Hrmenie pred Jurajom je predzvesťou nepriaznivého roka", je jedna z pranostík, ktoré sme našli. Juraj má u nás meniny 24.apríla. Včera 22. apríla u nás hrmelo. Dúfajme len, že pranostika sa nevyplní do bodky.

Druhá pranostika týkajúca sa mena Juraj: "Na Juraja návrat lastovičiek do rodného kraja." V nasledujúcich dňoch budeme pozorovať, či sa už lastovičky vracajú z teplých krajín.

"The thundering before George´s name day foreshadows unfavourable year", this is one of the proverbs that we found. George has its name day on 24th of April. Yesterday, on 22nd of April, we had thundering here. We hope that the proverb will not fill completely.The second proverb that involves name George: "On George´s name day all swallows are coming back to their mother land." During following days we shall watch whether the swallows are coming back from warm countries.

Je tu bláznivý apríl, ktorý sa spolu so žiakmi snažíme pozorovať a zaznamenávať všetky zmeny počasia. Na základe vyhľadaných pranostík porovnávame zapísané múdrosti našich predkov so súčasným počasím. Je to ale dosť náročné! Dnes nám dokonca nasnežilo!

„Crazy" April is here, during which we (altogether with students) are trying to watch and record all changes of the weather. On the ground of looked up proverbs we are comparing wisdoms of our fathers with nowadays weather. It is rather hard. You wouldn´t believe, but it was snowing today.

Teší ma, že v priebehu školského roka sa ku práci na projekte pridali ďalšie moje kolegyne, čím sa na projekte plne využívajú medzipredmetové vzťahy. Projektom prepájame rôzne predmety: fyziku, chémiu, geografiu, informatiku, cudzie jazyky a literatúru.

I am pleased that during the school year to work on the project added another my colleagues, making the project fully utilize cross-curricular. Project're linking a variety of subjects: physics, chemistry, geography, computer science, foreign languages and literature.

Teplota v pranostikách...Temperature in proverbs:

Pranostika je krátky výrok, ktorý vznikol na základe mnohoročných pozorovaní a skúseností ľudí. Väčšinou sa viaže ku konkrétnemu dátumu, prípadne mesiacu alebo ročnému obdobiu.

Na hodine literatúry sme si zo žiakmi zopakovali vedomosti o pranostikách. Keďže sa však nachádzame vo svete a v časoch globálneho otepľovania a súčasné údaje o teplotách sa už nemusia zhodovať s tými, ktoré kedysi vnímali naši predkovia, rozhodli sme sa túto zaujímavú tému sledovať a skúmať. Spoločne sme vyhľadávali pranostiky, predovšetkým tie, ktoré sa týkali teploty a zapisovali sme si údaje, ktoré sme pozorovali. Výsledky sme si potom zhodnotili a porovnali.

Úloha pre partnerov: Aké pranostiky máte vo vašej ľudovej slovesnosti na mesiace apríl a máj? Skúste ich porovnať s našimi a tiež porovnajte výrok pranostiky so súčasným stavom počasia.

A proverb is a short statement that was made on the ground of many years of observation and experience of people. Mostly, it is connected with concrete date, sometimes with month or season.We have repeated knowledge about proverbs with students during literature lesson. As nowadays the treatment of global warming is acute and temperature data of these days don´t have to be the same as those in the past, we decided to follow and examine this interesting topic. We have looked up all the proverbs, mainly those involving temperature, and we have recorded all the data we observed. The results were evaluated and compared.

The task for partners: What proverbs do you have in your folk literature for April and May? Try to compare it with ours and also compare the statement of proverb with nowadays weather.

Slovensko-česko-poľský slovník... Slovak-Czech-Polish dictionary

Keďže náš projekt je pre deti prínosný a obohacujúci nielen čo sa týka fyziky, ale aj "nových" jazykov, s ktorými vďaka našim partnerom prichádzajú do kontaktu, na uľahčenie práce si žiaci vytvorili vlastný slovensko-poľský slovník. Na základe tejto zaujímavej a občas i zábavnej formy vyhľadávania a učenia sa nových pojmov, nás napadla ďalšia vec: doplniť a obohatiť slovník o nové pojmy aj z českého jazyka.

As our project is very prolific and beneficial for our children not only from physical point of view, but also from linguistic point of view, to make the life easier, students made their own Slovak-Polish dictionary. On the grounds of this interesting and funny way of looking up and learning of new notions, we have got great idea: please add and enrich the dictionary with new notions from Czech language.

eTwinning Annual Conference 2012

V dňoch 29.3. - 31.3.2012 sa konala Medzinárodná konferencia eTwinning v Berlíne. Mala som tú česť na tejto konferencii prezentovať náš spoločný projekt.

On 29.3.-31.3.2012 Internationale Twinning Conference held in Berlin. I had the honor to present our common project in this conference.

Teplý vzduch z triedy vychádza von vrchom rámu dverí, pretože má menšiu hustotu ako studený vzduch. Naspodku dverí prúdi studený vzduch z chodby do triedy, preto ide plameň smerom do triedy.

The warm air goes out of classroom through the top of the door casing, because the air has got smaller density than cold air. At the bottom of the door casing, cold air is going from the corridor to classroom that is why the flame is going towards the classroom.
